Playlist Dj Motion Potion

DJ Motion Potion (Robert Kowal) is one of the Bay Area's hardest working, most innovative, and dedicated DJ's. Legends like Isaac Hayes, Dr John, Maceo Parker,
Galactic, Femi Kuti, Galactic, and the Meters have called on MoPo's deep vault
of funkspertise to open their shows and rock their breaks.
Recent highlights include an innovative opening set for Govt. Mule's historic "Deepest End" show in New Orleans; set comprised entirely of southern rock breaks.
A bevy of bands have added MoPo's sounds to their sets including Garaj Mahal, Deep Banana Blackout, Rebirth Brass Band, DJ Logic, and Chris Duarte.
DJMP studies funk like a historian and brings a flexible, open-minded approach that can adapt to any audience, whether they dig the rare grooves, 70's disco moves, acid-rock, Latin rhythyms, African beats or any variety of
funky treats. As Jambase's Dennis Cook said in a recent profile: "Both his taste in tunes and his flow were impeccable."
